Buck + Doe is Ed’s fourth barbershop in Bend, and we are thrilled to call the historic Wagner Mall our home. Ed Cubero
Ed Cubero has been a Bend resident since 1970 and is a proud second-generation barber. He launched his barbering career in 1980 at his parents' shop, Lou's Barbershop, where he served a diverse clientele, including a large array of industries and workers of the era. At Lou's, conversations often revolved around current events, hunting, and fishing stories, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all. Ed specializes in all aspects of traditional men's barber cuts, focusing on precision and meticulous attention to detail. Buck + Doe marks Ed's fourth barbershop in Bend, and he takes great pride in providing top-quality service at an affordable price. With his extensive experience and commitment to client satisfaction, Ed ensures that every visit is a cut above the rest."
Sarai Smith
Sarai, a native of Bend, OR, has spent time in Nashville and Arizona, gaining experience in various salons before returning to her roots in Bend. With 14 years of industry experience, she offers versatile hair services, tailoring her approach to meet each client's unique needs. During consultations, Sarai ensures that if she cannot fully meet a client's expectations, she will refer them to a more suitable stylist.
While she enjoys color treatments, her true passion lies in haircuts and styling. Witnessing the transformation of a client in the mirror is the highlight of her work. Sarai is committed to achieving the desired look discussed during consultations and prides herself on her dedication and attention to detail. She prioritizes client satisfaction by avoiding double bookings, allowing her to focus solely on you. Before you leave her chair, she ensures that every strand is perfectly styled.
